Pictures from towns and roads along US Highway 50, known as the loneliest road in America. We traveled from Carson City, California to Interstate 15 in Utah, about 500 miles, taking five days and stopping in Silver City, Virginia City, Dayton, Fort Churchill, Fernley, Fallon, Middlegate Station, Austin, Eureka, Ely, Baker, and Great Basin National Park. Along the way, we saw the sights, talked to people, and ate at out-of-the-way places. It's lonely for sure but there was plenty to do.
