My dear friend Joan Vercruse passed away this week after a valiant battle against cancer. Bob and Joan lived in NY so we only saw each other a few times a year but when I was there I always shot pictures of Joan. She had a wonderful mobile expressive face and every frame was different from the one before. I always thought she might have been an actor.
